ISSI pengda Jakarta will hold sprint cycling championships or the Sprint Open Championships in Velodome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, on 28-29 September to map the strength sprinter sprinter-national.

Inu said that the decline in achievement and interest in bicycle racing lovers in Jakarta due to the lack of a championship that was held in Jakarta.
For that it would hold an Open Sprint Championships event on a regular basis once per three months.
“This activity is also to add a championship so that it can improve the performance of cyclists DKI Jakarta,” he said.
Inu further said that his department has recruited 12 cyclists to tier II to be developed as a professional athlete.
“We’ve cut one generation in the second tier and now we have to get a new best athletes of the selection results.
They are still our coaching to be able to compete in the national and international arena. Our target they can win at the Asian level, “Inu said.
To be able to bring the Indonesian athlete to appear in the world takes time and a lot of fund.

Brawn aware of Mercedes limitations as Hamilton prepares for hot Hungarian test

Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn is under no illusion of the problems his marque face in this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix in a bid to head into Formula One’s summer break on a high.

Searing temperatures are expected over Budapest, with the early race-day forecast predicting 36C, the kind of conditions the Mercedes’ duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg cannot cope with.

Where there is heat there is high tyre degradation on the Mercedes cars during a grand prix, which has undermined the team’s sizzling qualifying form as Hamilton and Rosberg have taken six of the last seven pole positions between them.

Add in the fact Mercedes were banned from last week’s young driver test at Silverstone where Pirelli’s new range of tyres were analysed by the other 10 teams, and the Brackley-based marque heads to the Hungaroring on the backfoot.

Following a number of high-speed blowouts during the British Grand Prix, Pirelli was forced to revise its rubber which means from this weekend last season’s construction is now married to this year’s compounds.

Mercedes, after conducting a private test with Pirelli in Barcelona in May which resulted in their ban, only have data given to them by the Italian manufacturer from the young driver test to fall back on.

Appreciating the difficulties, Brawn said: ‘The final race before the summer break is always a milestone for the team and an opportunity to review our performance before our staff enjoy a well-deserved break during the summer shutdown.

‘Our team are currently second in the constructors’ championship with two race wins to date.

‘However, the season has not been without its challenges and we have had some very tough races.

‘This happens over the course of a season and you have to take the highs and lows and find your path to making improvements.

‘Both Nico and Lewis have visited the factory in the two weeks since we returned from Germany and everyone has been working very hard to investigate our tyre sensitivities ahead of the elevated temperatures we will undoubtedly experience this weekend in Budapest.

‘Friday will also be our first opportunity to work with the new tyres on our car, so we have a great deal to learn in a short space of time.

‘We want to finish the first half of the season on a high, but the challenge facing us is clear.’ 

For Hamilton, the fact he has failed to yet win for Mercedes in his debut campaign, whilst Rosberg has taken the chequered flag twice, is irksome.

But the 28-year-old has a superb record in Hungary, winning on three occasions in his six years in F1, and there is an obvious eagerness to improve on that record.

But like Brawn, Hamilton recognises that is easier said than done.

‘It is an important weekend for us, and we need to get off to a good start on Friday when we have the chance to try the new tyres for the first time,’ said Hamilton.

‘I’ve spent some time at the factory since we returned from Germany and I know everyone is working really hard to improve our overall performance and to address the issues we experienced at the last race.

‘It would be great to reward all of that effort with a strong weekend in Budapest, and I’ll certainly be pushing to make that happen.

Milton Keynes – Sebastian Vettel will not move the team until the end of season 2015. World champions in the last three seasons it has just extended his contract with Red Bull.

Vettel agreed last contract with Red Bull lasts until 2014. Although still leaves one more season, Red Bull who did not want to lose the valuable asset it has been handed a new deal until the end of season 2015.

“Infiniti Red Bull Racing is pleased to confirm that the world champion Sebastian Vettel has extended his contract for a few years until 2015,” Red Bull said in a statement as reported by Crash.

Vettel to join Red Bull in 2009, where he immediately finished the season in second place final standings. One season later he appeared dominant and won the F1 world champion, successfully defended in the successful 2011 and 2012 seasons.

With the lead now 36 points clear of his nearest rival, Vettel has a chance to equal the record of Juan Manuel Fangio as the rider who became world champion four times in a row. Only Michael Schumacher who had the most consecutive world title, which is as much as five times from 2000 to 2004.

Throughout his career, Vettel (25 years) have reached 29 wins, 51 podiums and 39 pole positions collect.

Valentino Rossi apparently reached a new record after winning the MotoGP Netherlands, on June 29, 2013. The Doctor became the oldest active riders capable of winning the Grand Prix series of primary classes.

After more than two years of famine victory in MotoGP, Rossi ultimately successful victory in MotoGP 2013. Success in Circuit Assen is a 80th victory of the Italian racer in the primary classroom Grand Prix (500cc and MotoGP).

However, the official website launch MotoGP, Rossi has also created a new record in the Grand Prix event. The Yamaha rider became the oldest active rider capable of winning the Grand Prix series of primary classes. Rossi beat the record of former Brazilian driver, Alex Barros.

Rossi’s first win in the primary classroom occurred in British 500cc race, at the Donington Park Circuit, United Kingdom, July 9, 2000. 34-year-old rider wins at Assen occurred 12 years and 355 days later.

The previous record was held by Barros, with 11 years and 204 days. Barros won the first victory in the 500cc class Circuit Jarama (Spain), 26 September 1993, and last in MotoGP Portugal, 17 April 2005. Third place went to Phil Read with 11 years and 16 days.

Rossi chance to break the record in all classes belong to Loris Capirossi. If starting from the first 125cc win in the series, August 18, 1996 (Czech Republic), Rossi was 16 years and 345 days. While the record belongs Capirossi was 17 years and 49 days.

MotoGP 2013 will continue this weekend at Sachsenring, Germany. Rossi is currently still ranked five of the standings with a score of 85 points.

Nuerburg – Rio Haryanto was unable to get a satisfactory result in the first race of the GP2 German. Indonesian young rider was only finished in 18th position in the feature race.

In all the 32 lap race at the Nuerburgring circuit on Saturday (07/06/2013), Rio start in 20th position. He succeeded in crossing the finish line in 1 hour and 1 minute 0.306 seconds and ranks 18th.

This is the winner of the first race DAMS driver, Marcus Ericsson. Ericsson, who started from second position, finishing in 1 hour 16.988 seconds.

Rio still has a chance to earn points in Germany. He will follow the sprint race on Sunday (07/07/2013) tomorrow.

In the rider standings, Rio now ranks 18th with 20 collection points. Top position is occupied by Rapax driver, Stefano Coletti, with 135 points.

Stoner will perform 4 times testing there. In addition he will taste the motorcycle racing that will be used by some teams elected in MotoGP 2014.
“Almost 7 months ago I announced his resignation in Valencia and I remain comfortable and happy with the decision to quit racing motorcycles, although sometimes I miss driving a Honda RCV,” said Stoner.
“That is why I am very happy to accept the offer of HRC to do some testing at Motegi this year. I can not wait to drive RCV and find out how he has changed from last year. ”
Testing will take place in the next few months. Stoner will provide advice and input to the R & D Team HRC.

LONDON, July 25 (Reuters) – Lance Armstrong said he was not surprised by a French Senate inquiry’s findings that the top two in the 1998 Tour de France took the banned blood booster EPO because virtually all riders at that time cheated and told lies.

 “I am not surprised,” the disgraced Tour winner told Cyclingnews. “As I have said, it was an unfortunate era for all of us and virtually all of us broke the rules, and lied about it.”

The American, who was stripped of his seven Tour titles for doping, called for cycling to address its doping past in a “collective and co-operative manner”.

“If we don’t come together, have the conversation and draw a line in the sand and then move on, we’re all screwed,” he said.

Armstrong admitted having taken performance-enhancing drugs in January and was stripped of the Tour titles he won from 1999 to 2005 after the United States Anti-Doping Agency said it had uncovered a sophisticated doping programme.

 Armstrong did not compete in 1998 because he was battling cancer but the French Senate inquiry, published on Wednesday, named him as testing positive for EPO in 1999.

 Italian Marco Pantani, who won the Tour in 1998 and died of a drug overdose in 2004, and Jan Ullrich of Germany, who finished second in 1998, were among those named in the 918-page report compiled by a parliamentary group who called for a “truth and reconciliation” commission (TRC) to be created to lift the veil of silence on illegal practices.

 Since Armstrong confessed to doping on the Oprah Winfrey show in January he has called for a truth and reconciliation programme on several occasions.

 WADA, the world anti-doping agency, the International Cycling Union (UCI) and national federations have been wary of the suggestion, although UCI presidential candidate Brian Cookson has appeared open to the suggestion of Armstrong sharing his past.

Armstrong continued: “I have not been contacted by anyone. I suspect in many ways they (WADA) are afraid of a TRC as it would fly in the face of the now famous talking point ‘the most sophisticated doping programme in the history of the world’.”

Asked if the Senate’s findings would benefit the sport, Armstrong told Cyclingnews: “I don’t know. I really don’t.

“I’d like to think that there is some good in all this but from my perspective, sitting here today, there has been nothing but damage done to the sport.” (Reporting by Mike Collett; Editing by Clare Fallon)

With an emphasis on efficiency, innovation and transparency, NASCAR unveiled a restructuring of its competition department philosophies Monday that’s scheduled to be completed by 2015.

In a wide-ranging series of initiatives, the sanctioning body plans to simplify its dense rulebook (and possibly make it available online to fans) with more graphical examples and computer-animated drawings, re-examine its appeals process for penalties and streamline its officiating while adding technology in the pits.

The responsibility for designing and developing future models of race cars also will fall under the purview of Gene Stefanshyn, who recently took over as the head of NASCAR’s Research and Development Center. This will allow vice president of competition Robin Pemberton and Sprint Cup director John Darby to focus on rules enforcement with enhanced deterrence and a revamping of the inspection process.

Stefanshyn and senior vice president Steve O’Donnell both hinted NASCAR, whose Sprint Cup cars employ mostly outdated engine architecture, would move toward its race cars being more relevant under the hood to street models. The Gen 6 car was introduced this year with exterior features more comparable to its showroom counterparts.

“We want to position NASCAR ultimately for the future,” O’Donnell said. “The goal for us would be that as cars come off the manufacturing line in the near future, they certainly look like NASCAR from an aesthetic standpoint when you look at those on track, but just as importantly the technology that’s in those cars mirrors what’s on track, and we really become that proving ground from a technology standpoint.

“We want to be more nimble in what we do from a technology standpoint, be able to quickly react to the emerging technologies. We feel like no better sport is better positioned to really take technology (and) showcase it in front of some of the toughest conditions that exist in the world.

In trying to reduce the “gray area” from its rules, O’Donnell said the sanctioning body will spell out what the specific punishements are for infractions, a la a 5-yard penalty for being offsides in the NFL. Throughout its 65-year history, NASCAR has meted out justice on a case-by-case manner.

NASCAR also will consider an overhaul of its appeals process, which has drawn plenty of scrutiny this season as Penske Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing have had penalties reduced after challenging them.

There currently is a two-tiered appeals process that starts with a hearing before a three-member panel that is chosen from 48 members of the racing industry. Chief Appellate Officer John Middlebrook hears any final appeals.

O’Donnell said NASCAR would consider matching the expertise of its appeals board with the case.

“We probably put people in some tough positions,” O’Donnell said. “And when you look at track promoters who maybe need to work with a race team or a race owner or a team owner in future weeks, and you’re asking them to come in and make a ruling on a carburetor or something new that they have never heard about, and they’re not experts in that, it puts them in a tough position.

“If we can make that a better process with industry experts, still to be determined how we do that, that’s one area we really felt like we could bring in people who have a better understanding of the emerging technology that’s in the race cars.”
